    3/4 cup Port Wine

  • •

    1/2 tsp Herb de Provence

  • •

    1 tsp Olive Oil

Instructions

    Cook pasta. Bring water to a boil and add salt if desired. Add the pasta and stir let it cook stirring occasionally until pasta is "al dente", approximately 6-7 minutes. Remove from heat, drain and set aside.

    Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the beef and brown on each side. Remove beef and set aside.

    In the same pot, add butter and shallots and saute until tender. Add the seared beef, wine, port, broth and herb de Provence and boil until liquid is reduced about 10-15 minutes.

    On a serving plate, pour port sauce over pasta and enjoy!
